fullstop

Built by an addict, for addicts

The porn blocker for Mac that holds, even when you don't.

I switched off every blocker I ever installed, usually late at night. So I built one I can't switch off, even though I wrote the code. Fullstop takes away your admin access. The only way out is a 3-day wait, and by then the urge has usually passed.

Early test build. Back up your Mac before installing.

You're not weak. Your blocker is.

Here's the trap. You install a blocker on a good day, when you're thinking clearly. Then, late one night, a different version of you shows up, and that version knows the password.

Most blockers ask that version of you to be strong. Fullstop doesn't ask. It just makes them wait 3 days. Willpower runs out. A clock doesn't.

There's no shame in needing that. Plenty of us do.

How it works

Four steps. The first one is the hardest, and it's the one only you can do.

  1. Clear out your stash. If you've got anything saved, on your Mac, a hard drive, or in Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox, delete it before you start. Fullstop blocks sites, not files you already have. Empty the Trash too.
  2. Install it on a good day. Setup takes a few minutes. Your account becomes a standard user, and a hidden admin account is made with a password nobody sees.
  3. Everything stays blocked. Adult sites, X, Reddit, VPNs, other browsers and the loopholes around them. Add your own blocks anytime, instantly.
  4. Want something unblocked? Wait 3 days. Ask for the code and it shows up 3 days later. It works for 24 hours, then changes and locks again.

What makes it different

  • Nobody has to know. No friend holding your password, no partner getting reports, no awkward conversation. Your history stays yours.
  • Not even you can switch it off. It's your Mac and you set it up, and there's still no off switch. That's the whole point.
  • It closes the loopholes too. VPNs, other browsers, incognito, proxy extensions, even running a second computer inside your Mac. Every loophole we find gets closed.
  • It doesn't watch you. No screenshots, no reports, nothing sent anywhere. It blocks sites and apps by name, and that's it.
  • Normal life still works. School sites, campus Wi-Fi, Instagram, YouTube, macOS updates and your everyday apps. It never touches your Wi-Fi settings.
  • Blocking more is instant. Add any site or app in seconds. Removing a block takes 3 days, the same as everything else.

What it blocks

Out of the box, with no setup. The ones marked "for good" can't be unblocked at all.

Blocked

  • About 77,000 adult sites, in every app
  • X (Twitter) and Reddit, for good
  • Telegram and Mega, for good
  • OnlyFans, 4chan, Tumblr and similar
  • VPNs and proxies
  • Every browser except Chrome
  • Incognito, guest mode and new extensions
  • Virtual machines

Left alone

  • YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Discord
  • Your Wi-Fi and DNS settings
  • School (.edu) sites and school VPNs
  • macOS updates and approved installers
  • Your files, apps and login password

A note from me

Why I built this

I'm an addict. I don't say that for drama. It's just true, and pretending otherwise never helped me.

I tried the apps and the promises and the "last time." Every blocker I installed, I eventually got around, because on my own Mac I was always the admin. The problem was never that I didn't want to stop. The problem was that the off switch was always there, and I always knew where it was.

So I built Fullstop for me first. I wrote every line of it, and I still can't get around it. That's how I know it holds.

This isn't a big company with a growth team. It's one person who gets it, building the thing they needed, out in the open. Every loophole I find, and every one you send in, gets closed and written up for everyone to see.

If you're reading this, you probably know the feeling. You're not broken, and you're not alone. You just need a lock that holds.

Built with the people using it

Fullstop gets harder to beat every time someone finds a loophole. No accounts, no names, no judgment.

  1. You find a loophole. A way around it, a site that slipped through, or something it broke.
  2. You tell us, anonymously. One short form. No email, no name.
  3. It gets closed. For you, and for everyone else using Fullstop.
  4. It goes on the build log. In plain English, so you can see exactly what changed.

What it can't do, honestly

You deserve to know this before you install it.

  • It can't delete what you already have. Saved videos, downloads and folders in Google Drive or iCloud aren't touched. Clear them out before you start.
  • It can't stop someone erasing or formatting the entire device. That removes Fullstop, along with everything else on the disk.
  • It only covers this Mac. Your phone and other computers aren't protected.
  • It blocks whole sites, not posts. Sites that stay open, like YouTube and Instagram, aren't filtered inside.

Questions people ask first

I'm an admin on my Mac. Can't I just delete it?

Not after you install it. Setup makes your account a standard user and creates a hidden admin account with a password nobody sees. Without admin access you can't remove Fullstop, change its settings, or make yourself an admin again.

Can you send me the code early?

No. The code is made and kept on your Mac. It's never sent to us, so there's nothing we could send you. Nobody can skip the wait, including me.

Does it watch my screen or read what I do?

No. Fullstop never looks at your screen, takes screenshots, or sends anything anywhere. It blocks whole sites and apps by name.

What about videos I've already saved?

Fullstop can't see or delete files you already have, on your Mac, an external drive, or in cloud storage like Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox. Delete them before you install, and empty the Trash. It's the hardest step, and it's the one that matters most.

Is it free?

Yes, during early access. A paid plan will come later. Unlocking will never depend on paying.
